Pippert style Thanksgiving

On Saturday, it is tradition for the Pippert side of the family to get together and share Thanksgiving leftovers. Usually this even is held at Uncle Jim's and Aunt Peggie's house but with the move of Grandpa and Cloene, it was decided to have it at there house. Here are some pictures of the festivities!

Aaron playing with the Chinese Checkers. He didn't know how to play but most of the little kids like putting the pegs in the holes.

Kevin, Megan, and Cory

Kandice and Papa.

Cloene and Mitch.

Grandpa, Uncle Jim and Uncle Greg.

Kimberly with Uncle Fred's head in the corner.

Kyle and his fiance Jescey

Klayton and I believe Klain playing tether ball when there was a brief break in the rain.

Left to right you have (a bunch of backs): Uncle Fred, Kimberly, Kelln, Mom, Mitch, Grandpa, Sean and Uncle Greg.

When papa wasn't giving people adjestments, he was sleeping through the stories.

After dinner we got together and the Aunts and Uncles talked about memories of there childhoods (and papa slept).

Picture Time!

I love this picture Mom has her eyes closed and Aunt Jill is trying to see if there is something in her teeth!

Boomer and Jackson came ready to play!

Cloene and Grandpa holding the newest grandson, Ezra.

Ezra and Cloene

Cute picture of Ezra

Sadie found Maria's rain boots and decided that she would just have to try them on...

and show them off!

Boomer hanging out in the other room.

Jason wanted to show off his strong muscles.

And Boomer didn't want him to show him up!

Sadie being plain cute, while looking over her daddy's shoulder

Boomer and Jason had a lot of fun playing together.

I had to get a picture taken of me with my grandpa!

Cloene made all the young grandchildren popcorn balls and Sadie couldn't wait to dig into hers.

Over all it was a really fun night. We had almost the whole family there; we were only missing Uncle Danny, Aunt Lesley and Joseph and Carrie.

On Sunday we were blessed enough to be able to attend Ezra's baby blessing. It was fun to be able to share that special moment with him, Brad and Angie and the rest of the family. It truly is a blessing to have such wonderful family and to know that they care!

On the drive home Sean and I were lucky enough to take Aaron home with us. As we were leaving after the baby blessing Aaron stated, "Can Jason come home with us?" I asked him why and he said, "Because he is my friend and my brother!" It was so sweet of him to say and I knew that is how he felt because he was sad when I told him Jason had to stay with his mom and dad. I am very grateful that the two of them were able to get along so very well!

Over all this was one of the best Thanksgivings so far! Thanks to everyone who played a part in making it so great!
